Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for patients and visitors while managing the administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in handling multiple things at one time. Must be organized and accommodating to patients needs.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the office.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using Abeldent and electronic medical records system.
Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls as needed.
Maintain patient records with accuracy, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly applied.
Assist with billing and insurance verification processes, providing support to patients as necessary.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.

Requirements

Previous experience as a dental receptionist is preferred.
Proficiency in Abeldent is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of dental terminology to facilitate effective communication with patients and staff.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.
