```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our lovely team in a private family oriented office for Mondays and Thursdays. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. ```Duties```
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Document patient treatment records accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory

```Requirements```
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in BC
- Proficiency in dental office software (Tracker knowledge is an asset)
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
