Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and Epic.
Process patient payments and insurance claims while ensuring compliance with office policies.
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Skills

Proficiency in Tracker or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental terminology and electronic dental records is essential.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is expected.
Background in a dental office setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
Ability to work efficiently in a front desk role while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with multi-line phone systems is an advantage, enhancing communication capabilities.
