Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and maintaining efficient administrative processes. This role requires excellent communication skills and a understanding of medical terminology and office procedures specific to the dental field.

Responsibilities

Greet patients as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage patient check-in and check-out efficiently.
Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries via phone systems or in person.
Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any issues that arise during visits.
Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental practices.
Knowledge or previous use of Dentrix software.
Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly desirable.
Excellent administrative skills, including attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Familiarity with front desk operations in a dental office environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
