Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the examination of patients by providing dentists with necessary information regarding patient history and current conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records using Power Practice software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring excellent customer service.

Skills

Proficiency for managing patient records is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Experience in dental assisting can enhance collaboration within the office environment.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
