Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments using our dental software system Tracker.
Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring compliance with dental terminology standards.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services offered.
Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient files.
Process patient payments and insurance claims efficiently while explaining billing procedures when necessary.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and support during appointments.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the overall patient experience.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is preferred.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Tracker is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional phone demeanor.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
