Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist the dentist during various procedures, with a focus on root canals(endodontics).
Take dental x-rays
Manage patient records using dental software Akitu One (free training available)
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Support the dental receptionist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements

Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
no experience required with dental softwares, training available for free
Experience working in a general dental setting is a plus
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
