Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and assisting in the overall efficiency of our dental practice. This position requires strong clinical skills, a passion for patient education, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with Paradigm software is a plus.
Knowledge of dental terminology related to dentistry.
Experience or interest in periodontics and orthodontics is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Days and Hours:

Monday 9/10am to 7pm

Tuesday 9/10 am to 7pm

Thursday 9/10 to 7pm

Saturday 9am to 4pm (alt or all)

Sunday (TBD in Fall)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
