Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of dental terminology and office procedures.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Utilize Abeldent software for scheduling, patient management, and record keeping.
Stay updated with medical terminology relevant to dental procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
Proficiency in abeldent or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organization.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Experience with phone systems and front desk operations is an advantage.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
