Onyx Dental is seeking a strong, hands-on Practice Manager / Treatment Coordinator to lead our front-end operations while actively supporting the day-to-day flow of the practice.

This is not a sit-back management role. We are looking for someone who leads by example—comfortable stepping into the front desk, supporting the team, and ensuring the schedule, patients, and systems all run smoothly.

We are a patient-first practice that operates with accountability to performance metrics, and we’re looking for someone who understands how to balance both.

Team of 2 General Dentists, 1 Specialist, 3 Hygienists, 3 DA and 3 Admin

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the team while actively working within it—ensuring smooth daily operations, strong patient communication, and consistent schedule performance.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Accountability

Lead and support the team day-to-day
Set expectations, hold accountability, and maintain a positive, professional culture
Troubleshoot issues in real-time and keep the day running efficiently

Hands-On Front Desk Support

Answer phones, manage patient flow, and support check-in/check-out as needed
Fill schedule gaps, manage cancellations, and maintain a productive day
Assist with insurance, billing, and patient communication

Treatment Coordination

Present treatment plans and discuss financial options confidently
Follow up on unscheduled treatment and outstanding cases
Drive case acceptance through clear, patient-focused communication

Performance & Operations

Monitor and improve key metrics (production, collections, schedule utilization)
Ensure both doctor and hygiene schedules remain full and efficient
Maintain accuracy and efficiency within Curve Hero

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a dental office (management and/or senior admin role)
Strong understanding of dental scheduling, insurance, and treatment coordination for basic and major treatment
Comfortable being both a leader and a working team member
Confident, clear communicator with patients and team
Organized, proactive, and solutions-driven
Experience with Curve is an asset

Compensation & Perks

$30/hr+ based on experience
Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)
