Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and preventive care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for 3 full days a week with flexibility to be discussed: Mon 12-8, Tues 8-6, Thurs 1-8, alt Fri 9:30-2:30

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software.
Provide support in orthodontic procedures when necessary.
Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding their dental health.
Work with pediatric patients to ensure a positive experience during their visits.

Skills

Proficiency in orthodontics and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices is a plus.
Bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is essential.
Experience using Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
