Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and Experienced Office Manager to join our dynamic and long-term dental team! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the dental team efficiently. This role requires a blend of at least 5 years dental office experience and strong communication skills to ensure a smooth overall operation of the clinic. The days for the position will be Tuesday- Saturday, with very definitive hours as follows… Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11AM to 7PM, Thursdays 9:30AM to 5:30PM, Fridays 9AM to 4PM and Saturdays 9AM to 5PM.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Oversee and manage all staff and schedules.
Handle complex treatment plans, and communication with patients when needed.
Oversee accurate patient records, including updating medical history and insurance information.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries in accordance with office policies. Manage all A/R (both patients and insurance) along with delegating such duties to admin staff.
Monitor the flow of patients within the office to ensure timely appointments schedule production.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. We are all about communication!
Maintain a smooth workflow between admin and clinical staff.

Skills

Proficiency in dental software Tracker is a must
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
At least five years experience in a dental office is mandatory!
Excellent administrative skills with experience in front desk operations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
