Position: Dental Hygienist

Specifics about the role:
We’re currently hiring two full-time Registered Dental Hygienists to join our team:
- 1 Permanent Full-Time Role
- Schedule: Monday 10 - 6, Tuesday 11 - 7, Wednesday 11 - 7, Thursday 10 - 6, Friday 8 - 2, one Saturday per month with the monday off in lieu.
- 1 Full-Time 12 month Maternity Leave Contract
- Schedule: Monday 9 - 5, Tuesday 8 - 4, Wednesday 11 - 7, Thursday 10 - 6
What you’ll do:
- Performing a full range of clinical hygiene services—including scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying topical fluoride—with precision and care.
- Assessing and case typing patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure appropriate and personalized care plans.
- Acting as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
- Building strong and trusting patient relationships through every interaction—your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
- Creating a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Registered Dental Hygienist status in good standing in Alberta.
- Local Anesthetic Certificate would be considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
- Comfort with Dentrix and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
