About the Clinic:
Located in the heart of Marlborough, Sayahh City Kids Dental Care is a welcoming, community-focused clinic dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for patients of all ages. With a city park–inspired reception area and Calgary-themed treatment rooms, the clinic offers a fun, comfortable environment that helps patients—especially children—feel at ease.
The team is deeply connected to the local Calgary community, participating in local events, promoting oral health education, and supporting families who may not otherwise have access to care. The clinic also proudly serves a diverse patient base, with multilingual team members able to support patients in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, and Spanish.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who value community impact, teamwork, and delivering compassionate, patient-centred care in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What you’ll do:
- Perform a full range of clinical hygiene services—including scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying topical fluoride—with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and case typing in alignment with clinical protocols to support appropriate, individualized care plans.
- Commitment to disclosing solutions to identify areas of concern and provide comprehensive oral hygiene instruction (OHI), empowering patients to improve and maintain their oral health.
- Act as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
- Build strong, trusting patient relationships through every interaction—your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
- Create a tailored, patient-centred experience based on each individual’s needs, expectations, and goals.
- Provide compassionate, confident care to children of all ages and abilities, ensuring a positive and supportive dental experience.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Registered Dental Hygienist status in good standing with the ACDH.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy schedule efficiently.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
- Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience is a bonus.
