Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist in the documentation of patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in Dentrix.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including orthodontics and pediatrics when necessary.
- Manage patient appointments and ensure a smooth flow of operations within the dental office.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
- Experience working in a dental office environment, preferably with knowledge of orthodontics.
- Familiarity with practice management software for patient management and record keeping.
- Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is beneficial for working with younger patients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00-$62.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
