We have a part-time dental hygienist opening at our downtown office!
- Thursdays 6:45 am to 3 :15 pm
- Fridays 6:45 am to 12:15 pm
As a Dental Hygienist in our office, you will play an integral part in delivering high-quality dental care and enhancing patient experiences. We have an experienced team who is looking to add a part-time hygienist. Strong communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with the dental team and to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take digital x-rays and intraoral pictures
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive dental care
Experience:
- Must have a valid dental hygiene license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist preferred
- Proficient in using dental software for charting and recordkeeping
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
