Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Schedule
- Tuesdays (10am to 6pm)
- Saturdays (9am to 4pm)
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed to protect teeth from decay.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including orthodontics and pediatrics when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Experience in dental assisting is a plus, providing additional support within the practice.
- A strong understanding of Invisalign will be beneficial in addressing the needs of our younger patients.
