Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained at the highest standards. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively communicate with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs (when indicated).
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care (use of iTero and Oral Health Suite is a bonus).
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize dental software (ClearDent) for patient records and scheduling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists on patient treatment plans, including restorative and Invisalign cases.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to enhance patient interactions - rebooking patients and patient retention.
- Familiarity with ClearDent or similar dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is beneficial.
- Understanding of the principals of preventative care including oral care products and orthodontic procedures.
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.

Pay: $58.50-$64.90 per hour

Licence/Certification:
