Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to cover three days vacation, with the potential for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
- Utilize Logic Tech Paradigm software for patient management and record keeping.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist.
- Provide support in pediatric and orthodontic procedures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and follow-up care.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Logic Tech Paradigm software is a plus.
- Knowledge of pediatric and orthodontic dentistry is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient communication.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is an advantage but not required.
