Position: Dental Hygienist (Saturdays + Optional Additional Day)
Schedule: Saturdays (1 additional weekday available if preferred)

Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Alberta

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Assess patients' oral health, including checking for signs of periodontal disease, cavities, and other dental issues.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is preferred.
- Experience in a dental office setting is essential, including familiarity with dental assisting tasks.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar practice management software.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive patient interactions and experiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
