Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Associate Dentist for 3 weeks part time for our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record-keeping efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including CAD technology and pediatric dentistry techniques.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Previous experience is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
