Associate Dentist – Join Our Growing Family Practice!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, proficient in a wide range of dental procedures, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient experiences and improving oral health outcomes.
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
- Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient journey.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS/DMD) and active membership with the RCDSO and CDA.
- Valid provincial dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience or interest in Pediatric Dentistry is an asset.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental procedures is preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Epic software is considered a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong patient and team relationships.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
