Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
- Assist in the management of patient flow within the office to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans, particularly in areas such as orthodontics and pediatrics.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and retention.
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices, technologies, and medical terminology relevant to the field.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Previous experience in dental assisting may be beneficial but is not mandatory.

Pay: $57.00-$62.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 23 per week
