Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Clean, sterilize, and set up operatory to accept patients
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Communicate with patients when accepting and discharging them after treatment
- Enter patient treatment and communicate with staff members any information pertinent to patient care and scheduling.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks and other assigned clinical tasks
Requirements:
- Post Secondary Education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of dental terminology an asset but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental fee schedule an asset but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Note: Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience is an asset but NOT REQUIRED - ( IN-Office training will be provided)

Pay: $36,400.00-$38,800.00 per year
