Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive experience for our patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and comfort.
Preferred working days are Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Conduct routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other dental procedures with precision.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment documentation.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- Dental office experience is required, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with children.
