Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team at (NE, SE, NW, Chestermere). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care, including working with pediatric patients and orthodontics.
- Utilize dental software such as clear dent and open dental for record management and appointment scheduling.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with clear dent and open dental systems ( is a plus.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) may be beneficial but not required.

Pay: $31.00-$41.00 per hour
