Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Perform a range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting medical history and treatment progress.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
- Provide specialized care in pediatrics as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience with dental software systems such as Epic and Dentrix is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
- Previous dental office experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
