Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be skilled in various dental procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (experience with Dentrix is preferred).
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate.
- Manage pediatric patients with a gentle approach to ensure comfort during treatments.
- PRR/DME experience a must as our office does these procedures.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Epic or CAD is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, especially in pediatrics.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education in the field of dentistry.
