Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, and more. The Dentist will work closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of safety and infection control.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health and treatment needs.
- Perform a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Employ aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental clinic or office setting is essential.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology related to patient care.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is required.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform medical imaging as part of the diagnostic process.
