Pine Creek Dental is seeking a Dental Hygienist to be a part of our team! We are a brand new Dental Clinic in Southwest Calgary and pride ourselves in offering a full-range of Dental Services catering to patients of all ages. Requirements:
- Currently Registered and in good standing with the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists
- Valid CPR Certification
- New Grads are welcome to apply!
Assets:
- Previous Experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist of 1 year
- Knowledge of Dentrix Practice Management Software
- Familiarity with taking radiographs, using an iTero and treatment planning on dentrix
- Local Anaesthetia certification is an asset
Duties
- Provide comprehensive scaling, root planing and other hygiene treatments for adults and pediatric patients
- Take radiographs, iTero scans, and treatment plan with dentist during exams
- Book patients back in chair, manage daily schedule to optimize time in office
- Communicate the importance of dental hygiene and the pathogenesis / prevention of periodontitis with patients
- Screen for soft tissue lesions, hard tissue lesions and present findings to DDS
- Read clinical hygiene manual and follow treatment protocols corresponding to 2017 periodontal diagnosis classifications
- Perform duties in a professional manner with patients and staff, and have fun!
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: (24-30 hours per week, with hours increase available as practice grows)
- Tuesdays: 11am-7pm
- Thursdays: 8am-4pm (negotiable)
- Fridays: 8am-4pm
- Saturdays: 9am-3pm (one per month)
