We are looking to add a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to our dynamic team, who loves to care for children and their families!
Practice Hours: Are you wanting a great work-life balance? We only work Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM- 2:00 PM, NO evenings or weekends!!
The opportunity:
As an enthusiastic Dental Assistant, you have the opportunity to join our growing Pediatric practice! You are compassionate and have great interpersonal skills. You have a passion for helping patients gain confidence with dental procedures to ensure a great experience! You do this by being self-motivated, team-oriented and by paying exceptional attention to detail. You are skilled at chair side assisting, instrument processing, customer service and you are familiar with Dentrix.

Responsibilities:
- Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation & sterilization
- Establishing strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
- Cleaning and preparing treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
- Working well in a fast-paced environment
- Being flexible and creative in approaches to give personalized, individual care to each patient
- Being accurate with charting and having excellent clinical skills
- Making each child/family feel cared for
- Thoroughly addressing concerns professionally and compassionately
Requirements:
- Registered Dental Assistant
- Experience with Dentrix preferred
- Self starter and highly motivated
- Great attention to detail
- Experience in Pediatric dental environment preferred, but new graduates welcome
- Arabic, Punjabi, or Spanish communication skills would be an asset, but not necessary
