Job Description Summary
You will work directly under the direction of the dentist(s), primarily preparing for and assisting with a variety of dental procedures. Your role is critical to the practice's success, helping patients improve their oral health and achieve the smile of their dreams.
You will also manage administrative duties: greeting patients, answering questions, providing guidance and education on oral hygiene, and managing patient files (notes, booking appointments, and follow-ups). You will also oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and stocking of dental equipment, instruments, and the clinical area.
Schedule
- Mondays through Fridays.
- No weekends are required.
- The schedule includes evenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays (until 8pm).
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage: $25 to $32 per hour - based on your specific skills, relevant certifications, and positive attitude demonstrated.

Requirements and Key Qualities
- Registered as a Dental Assistant in the province of Alberta.
- 3+ months of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
- Experience with the following imaging types: Digital with Sensors, iTero, CEREC, PAN.
- Interpersonal skills: Positive attitude, self-motivation, ability to multitask, attention to detail, excellent time management and organisation, strong communication skills, accountability, adaptability, problem solving and decision making, commitment to development.
- Experience with coaching or mentoring others is an asset.
