We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and available.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring cleanliness.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Abel
- Stay updated with dental terminology and best practices in dental assisting to enhance service delivery.
Skills
- Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Abel Dent, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to perform dental assisting tasks with precision and accuracy
