Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Dental Associate to join our close-knit, supportive practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general dentistry and a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values quality, trust, and clear communication over volume.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, using effective dental terminology and diagnostic skills.
- Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures — including restorative, endodontic, surgical, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with RCDSO and privacy regulations.
- Adhere to strict infection control and aseptic protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Collaborate closely with the dental team to deliver a seamless, positive patient experience from start to finish.
- Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and treatment options in a way that builds trust and understanding.
- Stay current with advancements in dental practices, technology, and continuing education.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed General Dentist in good standing with the RCDSO
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Compassionate chairside manner and a commitment to patient-centered care
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture
- Familiarity with dental software such as ABELDent, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix (asset)
- Part-time availability (flexible days)
