We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental hygiene practice. Duties
As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive dental examinations and assessments
- Diagnosing dental conditions and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Performing a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and pediatric dentistry
- Utilizing dental software such as Dentrix and Epic for patient management and record keeping
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborating with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients
- Familiarity with medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is advantageous
- Proficiency in using dental software systems, specifically Epic and Dentrix
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
