What You Will Do
- Guide patients through complex treatment plans, including cases that involve specialists such as endodontists, periodontists, denturists, and oral surgeons.
- Coordinate referrals, consultations, and follow up appointments with both in house providers and external specialists.
- Prepare and submit predeterminations, verify insurance coverage, and explain benefits clearly to patients.
- Review treatment plans with patients, discuss financial arrangements, and help them understand timelines and recommended care.
- Support case acceptance by communicating confidently and answering patient questions.
- Track pending predeterminations and outstanding treatment, then follow up to ensure smooth scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records, treatment notes, and insurance details.
- Assist the reception and clinical teams as needed to keep the day running smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a dental office, ideally with treatment coordination or insurance roles.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, predeterminations, frequency limits, and specialist referral processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss treatment in a clear and compassionate way.
- High attention to detail combined with strong organizational ability.
- A patient focused mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
