Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and fostering a positive patient experience. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse patient caseload, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments utilizing medical imaging and dental records.
- Diagnose dental conditions through patient evaluation and clinical findings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics.
- Conduct a wide range of procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with RCDSO regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology.
- Hands-on experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions and utilize dental fabrication techniques.
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and infection control standards is required.
- Strong commitment to patient care, assessment skills, and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
