Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Overview
Crowfoot Dental Studio is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are a locally owned husband-and-wife dental practice focused on thoughtful care, strong relationships, and helping patients leave better than they came.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental hygiene services including scaling, root planing, and use of Airflow GBT.
- Take dental radiographs as indicated, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive strategies
- Monitor periodontal health and communicate findings clearly to patients and the clinical team
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records using Open Dental
- Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to support efficient patient flow
- Support infection prevention and instrument reprocessing protocols
- Provide gentle, patient-centered care for patients of all ages
- Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional growth
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in Alberta
- Current CPR/HCP certification
- Experience with Open Dental or similar dental software preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients
- Bilingual abilities are an asset but not required
- Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
Clinical Hours
- Monday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (1–2 per month)
Position Schedule: Part-time, 2–3 days per week
