Chinook Smiles is looking to welcome a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our smile team.
Located in the Chinook Mall Professional Building, we are an established and growing general dental office with a friendly, close-knit team and strong patient base.
This is a permanent position, Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4 pm, with one evening shift (until 7 pm) per week.
The ideal candidate should be motivated and committed, with dedication to excellent patient care. Proficiency in Cleardent, intra-oral scanning and local anaesthetics are strong assets. We offer competitive compensation package including bonus, health spending account, team events, and more!
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, fluoride administration
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment
- Advance scheduling of patients prior to leaving the office
- Knowledge with Cleardent, intraoral scanning and local anaesthetics are strong assets
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta dental hygiene license
