We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our family practice for Mondays and alternating Saturdays. The ideal candidate is confident practicing independently and is capable of delivering high-quality comprehensive care, including surgical procedures, to an established and busy book of patients. The successful candidate strives to build strong patient relationships, is at ease with using state-of-the-art technology, and has excellent communication skills. Our clinic is fully compliant with the COVID-related guidelines of the RCDSO and CDHO. We are a paperless office, using Tracker 12 as our patient database software.
Responsibilities
· Perform a range of dental procedures including restorations, endodontic procedures, crowns and bridges, oral surgery (including wisdom teeth) and implants
· Diagnose and treatment plan independently and collaboratively
· Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
· Deliver excellent patient care with strong communication and professionalism
· Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and admin team to ensure smooth patient flow
· Establish long-term relationships, patient loyalty and retention through exceptional communication
· Conduct comprehensive patient exams to determine appropriate treatment plans: motivate and educate patients on achieving their best oral health
· Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records in compliance with regulations
· Exercise leadership and collaborate with a team of dedicated dental professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
· Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
· Min 5 years of Canadian work experience: experience and fit are key!
· Strong clinical judgment and surgical confidence
· Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment
· Ability to manage a full schedule with an established patient base
· Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude towards patients and staff
