Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate perio-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, assisting with patient education, and supporting the overall operation of the dental office. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment focused on patient well-being and oral health. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental hygiene visits to patients
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with efficiency and professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and insurance processing
- Support infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental office management software preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- 2+ years experience is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
