What you’ll do:
- Conduct dental examinations and assessments to evaluate patients’ oral health and support the development of appropriate, patient-centered treatment plans.
- Provide general dental care for patients of all ages — including preventive, restorative, and basic surgical procedures — while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
- Administer local anesthesia safely and effectively to support restorative and minor surgical treatments.
- Perform restorations (fillings), simple extractions, and other routine procedures within your scope of practice, with guidance and mentorship available for more complex cases.
- Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, prevention, and long-term maintenance strategies to promote lifelong dental health.
- Collaborate closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members to deliver seamless, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation using the dental software system.
- Participate in mentorship and continuing education opportunities to build confidence, expand your skill set, and grow as a practitioner within a supportive family practice environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 2 Years of clinical experience
- A valid license to practice dentistry in the Province of Alberta, in good standing with the relevant regulatory body.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’re someone who puts patients at ease and connects easily with colleagues.
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to balance thorough care and efficient delivery.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask while keeping patient care at the heart of everything you do.
- A team-first mindset and a genuine interest in contributing to a collaborative and caring workplace culture.
