Job Summary
Our dental office is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of Open Dental practice management software is an asset, but not required
- Itero scanning is an asset, but not mandatory
- Excellent patient service skills
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Perform periodontal assessments and charting, documenting findings accurately in patient records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with our dentists to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent patient experience
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices, and technologies.
