Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental teams at Scenic Acres Dental Centre and our sister office - Northern Hills Dental for 2 days a week on Saturday and Sunday starting around March 2026. Our practices are closed ALL long weekends. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support, patient care, and clinical procedures. As an RDA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services across various specialties, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and endodontics. Your proficiency with dental technology and commitment to infection control will ensure a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring the smooth flow of clinical operations.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols in accordance with aseptic techniques.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Manage patient records using Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care, fostering a positive experience.
- Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with dental receptionists and managing medical documentation and coding for billing purposes.
- Operate advanced dental equipment including the iTero 3D scanners and other digital imaging tools to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure in the applicable region - experience is preferred but we will consider a new grad
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment, with familiarity across multiple specialties including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatrics.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
