Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our oral surgery practice. This is a casual role, 1 week per month, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with X-Rays, intra oral scanning along with knowledge of oral surgery Is a must. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional and patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist the oral surgeon during various procedures, including extractions, oral pathology.
- Take dental radiographs, intra oral scanning.
- Manage patient records accurately using OMS vision software systems
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain strict adherence to medical terminology standards and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with dental software platforms.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Familiarity with imaging tools used in dental diagnostics
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Previous experience working as a dental assistant.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
