Cestar College is looking for part-time instructors to teach courses in the accredited Dental Assisting Level I and II program. Cestar College of Business, Health and Technology is a private career college located in Toronto, Ontario. Requirements:
- ODAA Certification
- NDAEB Certification
- HARP Approval
- CPR/First Aid/HCP level: Basic Life Support
- Two or more years' experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist.
- Previous experience as an instructor for the Dental Assisting or Dental Hygiene program preferred,
- A credential in adult education or in progress from an accredited post-secondary institution and/or teaching experience is preferred
- Ability to motivate students
- High standards of behaviour, a professional attitude and commitment to quality service.
Must be available for the course schedule:
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am-2:00pm
Start Date: March 2 or 9, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum and prepare teaching materials
- Teach students using a variety of techniques, including lectures, discussions, case studies, group projects
- Evaluate student performance according to college policies and procedures
- Advise students on program curricula and preparation necessary for a career in Paralegal field
- Mark all content and submit course portfolio/grade-sheet/attendance at conclusion of course
