Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice for one day a week to start. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, with experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose dental conditions using clinical expertise and diagnostic tools such as CAD systems.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive procedures.
- Utilize dental office software such as Paradigm for charting, scheduling, and documentation of patient records.
- Provide pediatric dental care, ensuring a gentle and patient-centered approach for young patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote overall oral health.
- Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Experience working in a dental office environment is preferred; familiarity with Paradigm, and CAD software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
