We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and delivering high-quality clinical hygiene services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, scaling and root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Perform periodontal assessments and accurately document findings.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Take digital radiographs in accordance with practice protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and recommended treatment plans.
- Build strong relationships with patients to support long-term oral health and continuity of care.
- Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards (IPAC compliance).
- Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using practice management software(Dentrix).
- Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully prepared for each appointment.
- Contribute to a welcoming, supportive, and positive patient experience at every visit.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)..
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care.
- Experience taking digital radiographs.
- Familiarity with dental softwares such as Dentrix.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards.
- Friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with familiarity in dental office procedures and patient care standards
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental management software is highly desirable
- Experience working with pediatric patients or orthodontic cases is a plus
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology
- Prior experience in a busy dental office setting will be considered an asset
