Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist working on Tuesdays/Thursdays, and Fridays to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will play a crucial role in promoting oral health. This position requires a strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
Mandarin language skills are an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; knowledge of orthodontics is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
