We are a diverse and inclusive dental practice looking to add a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to our team. The tentative shifts are Monday-Thursday with one Saturday per month but these shifts/ hours are open to discussion for the right candidate.

Tentative Hours of Work:
Monday: 9am-5pm
Tuesday: 10:30am-6:30pm
Wednesday: 9am-5pm
Thursday: 10:30am-6:30pm
Select Saturdays: 9am-2pm
Duties:
· Perform oral health exams (including yearly periodontal measurements), take X-rays, screen for oral cancer, identify and relay any concerns to the dentist
· Scaling, root planing, application of applying sealants/fluoride, intra-sulcular application of antimicrobial agents, removing stains & maintaining current periodontal charts as required
· Formulating and setting ongoing recare protocols for patients in Curve
· Educating patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition's role, and the link between oral and overall health
· Work with dentists and other healthcare professionals, referring patients as needed
· Sending requests to insurances as required with medical rationales (i.e. for additional scaling units)
· Advanced Procedures (with authorization + certified training): Administer local anesthesia, take impressions, complete scans and provide additional care as requested by the dentist
· Verifying Treatment Accuracy
· Scheduling patients next appointment(s) per their recare protocol
· Completing proper patient handoff
