SMiiL Heights Dental Hygiene Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our independent hygiene clinic in Calgary 1–2 days per week, with the opportunity to grow.
We are looking for a hygienist with 10+ years of experience who has built strong rapport with their patients and takes pride in delivering high-quality preventive care and education. The ideal candidate enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and practicing dental hygiene at full scope.
Our clinic focuses on quality care over high patient volume, allowing hygienists the time needed to provide individualized care rather than rushing through back-to-back appointments.
Requirements
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the ACDH
- Strong diagnostic skills including radiograph interpretation and identifying caries and bone loss
- Excellent patient communication and education skills
- Local anesthetic certification preferred
- Experience with EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) preferred
(Training will be provided — GBT is mandatory for all patients at our clinic)
Hygienists must also be comfortable working independently, referring patients appropriately, and collaborating with dentists and specialists. A dentist will be joining the clinic for restorative treatment only, while preventive care and hygiene diagnosis remain within the hygienist’s scope.
Compensation
- $60–$70 per hour depending on experience
